1. September 12^th Lost Pines Venturing is Happening at Lost Pines Scout Ranch in Bastrop.

Several Crew 7 members agreed to help staff the event. We need to arrive Friday night and will return to Austin on Sunday morning.

Fees are $25 for the event. Staff members will be required to work and will attend for free. They will need to bring money for dinner Friday night on the way out to LPSR.

Staff members will sleep in the LPSR facilities and not need tents. Just bring sleeping bags, pads and toiletries.

Mrs. Ruhl will drive Crew 7 staff members Friday night 9/11 at 6:00PM.

Mrs Syvarth will drive the other staff volunteers at 7:00AM Saturday morning. Staff need to arrive by 8:00AM at LPSR.

Mrs Syvarth is returning to Austin at 5:00PM for anyone needing to return Saturday evening.

We will be back in Austin by 10:00AM Sunday morning.

We need an adult male to spend the weekend with Crew 7. Mr. Ruhl will be on staff at Powderhorn at another camp.

2. October 9-11 Lazy Campout at Emma Long Park.

Since this campout will be in Austin people will be able to come and go as needed for local activities on Saturday and Sunday.

We will have our October Crew 7 meeting at the park on Sunday afternoon October 11^th at about 12:30PM (when Paul, Cody and Robert return from Confirmation classes). We will cook lunch at the park.

We need to discuss food for the Lazy Campout at Venturing is Happening and who will be able to attend and where we will meet to buy food Friday night October 9^th.

3. October 31^st, Saturday Sailing on Lake Travis with Mr. Whited (Charlotte’s Grandfather)

We need to confirm Mr. Whited’s availability. We were planning on starting at 10:00AM and eating lunch on the lake.

Afterwards we were thinking about going Trick or Treating together in the evening.

4. November 8^th, Crew 7 Meeting

Krissy’s house. 2303 Manana St. Austin Texas

Bring swimsuits for the pool.

5. December 4^th Friday night South Rock Gym Lock-in

Approx cost will be $35 we need to confirm.

10 pm Friday – 6 am Saturday morning.

Rock Climbing, Games and a Movie.

6. December 13^th Saturday Crew 7 Meeting

Christmas Party, white elephant

7. Crew 7 voted to change the name of the Super Activity to the Uber Activity.

8. Mrs Robalino offered to have the crew come to her Beach house this fall. Due to numerous conflicts we will not be able to work it out. Please thank her for the offer.

Uber Activity

Seabase Sailing was suggested for the 2010 Summer.

Mr. Ruhl and Mr. Robalino will investigate some Sailing options.

We need a youth champion for this activity. They will need to check on airline tickets and total cost.

We also discussed Packard as a possible uber activity.

At our next meeting we need to discuss Fundraising options.
